水能載舟亦能覆舟The Water Carrying The Raft Can Also Capsize It
有些人「死到臨頭」還不肯在家供奉佛菩薩或諸神明，而理由竟然是，怕對佛菩薩及諸神明「招待不周」或嫌麻煩。這些人所謂的理由真是多過豬肉油及牛油。人間所有的一切皆從天上而來，也就是說，天上的佛菩薩及諸神明一切皆無缺，甚至美過，多過，好過人間不知多少倍啊！
被愚痴拖累的客人
吾知曉這些人所謂的「招待不周」，不單指怕照顧不來，而還有一種愚痴。這一種愚痴不是一般的教學所能補足。因為這一種愚痴，有些是多世的，有些則是一世而已。請大家注意，祇隔一世就變成愚痴之輩，那是多麼可怕的一件事啊！就因如此，吾才一直苦勸妳你們，千萬不要好逸惡勞，虛榮貪慾，拒絕善知識，不求上進。
有位客人因賞識吾的能力，幾次向吾表態，她若順利通過新工作三個月的試用期，她就正式隨吾學佛。天真是吾的天性，吾信以為真。試用期是通過了，但她卻沒有履行諾言，而吾還得「提醒」她。其實吾在她剛上班不久時，早已很肯定的告訴她，她一定能順利通過試用期的。為何吾如此胸有成竹呢？
主要的原因有三：
一、吾在其家佈了三個大局，因她這兩年運勢較差。
二、大力加持她。
三、吾對佛菩薩及諸神眾，包括吾自己的能力，俱足信心。
認得吾救妳你的方式，不要錯失！
當吾巧設機會於任何人隨吾學佛，是大開方便門，讓這些有情眾生能夠改過遷善，積福積德。可是她他們卻毫不珍惜。在吾身邊久的弟子或學生都知道吾從來不輕易接受供養。但當吾明示妳你，怎麼從來都不請吾喝水時，妳你就要打起十二分精神注意了。一定是妳你近期，或未來會有「問題」，師父才明示妳你請他喝水。 要知道師父喝的是功德水啊！同樣的，誠供佛菩薩一杯水，福報功德均包含，妳你若不是愚痴，為何又不供？水能載舟，亦能覆舟。
Even at the critical juncture of life and death, some people are still adamant about not setting up an altar at home to make offerings to the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and the Gods. And the reason was simply they were afraid that they might not be good host to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, or they find it troublesome. These people are really full of excuses. All that we are having in this realm originate from the Heavens. This also implies that in the higher realm, where the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and the Gods are, there is abundance of far more beautiful and better than the human realm.
The client who got dragged down by her ignorance
I know that their worry about being a poor host to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas do not just stem from their inability to cope, but also from ignorance. Such ignorance cannot be eradicated with normal teachings. This ignorance could be accumulated over one lifetime or several lifetimes. Please pay attention to this, my readers, to suffer from ignorance after one lifetime is so terrifying! Because of this, I have been tireless in my advice to you. Never be lazy and give in to your desires of materialism and lust. Do not turn away virtuous masters, and not strive for progress in life.
There was a client who appreciated my ability, and hence, expressed her wish, on numerous occasions, to learn the Dharma from me formally, if she cleared her 3-month probation at her new job. Naivety is in my nature and I believed her words. She passed her probation but she did not keep her promise, despite reminders from me. In fact, as soon as she started her new job, I had already told her affirmatively that she would clear the job probation without a hitch. Why am I so full of confidence?
There are 3 main reasons:
1. I implemented 3 Feng Shui formations at her house, as her fortunes in the past 2 years were far from ideal.
2. I gave her great blessing empowerment.
3. I have complete faith in the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and the Gods, as well as my own prowess.
Recognize my way of trying to save you, don’t miss it!
When I set up an opportunity for anyone to come and learn the Dharma from me, it is a compassionate way for these sentient beings to turn over a new leaf and accumulate virtues and merits. But alas, they did not treasure this opportunity. Disciples and students who have been by my side for long will know that I do not accept offerings easily from others. When I ask you outright why you have never offered to buy me a drink, you should be on the alert. You must have encountered some obstacles recently, or in the near future, that is why Master says out loud that you should buy him a drink. You must know that a drink of water offered to a Master is meritorious. In similar vein, a sincere offering of a cup of water to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas is virtuous and meritorious. If you are not ignorant, why are you not making that offering? Water has the ability to carry a raft, and capsize it at the same time.
