羊羊如意A Smooth Journey In The Year of Goat

光陰似箭啊！甲午馬年，馬上就要「交棒」給羊大哥了。大家也寄望新的一年裡，四季豐收，羊年行大運。但是，妳你們可會靜下心，認認真真地思考，自己一切的祈願，是否真會如願圓滿，又或者如何才能，圓滿所求呢？請別小看這短短的文字哦！這短短的文字，就是教妳你們，離開迷信，走向正信。

曾有人問吾，生什麼生肖的寶寶才好？如以生肖來說的話，生肖屬羊、豬、狗及兔的寶寶，是吾較建議的。最好的是要，以生辰四柱來斷定。吾個人則選擇羊、狗及豬，這三個生肖。羊年就說羊肖吧！屬羊的人，比較不自私，比較有同情心。其缺點是不懂得為自己，謀取幸福，對自己十分混亂，多有背骨的問題。但願屬羊的妳你，能早日識破與超越這缺點，離苦得樂。

凡生肖屬牛、羊、龍、狗及虎的朋友們，可在春節期間，擇良辰吉日，準備供品和紙金，到有供奉六十位太歲星君的廟宇，向值年太歲星君，禮拜及祝壽。很多人拜了太歲後，認為太歲没保佑，而怪起太歲來。這是很要不得的。那些拜了神明，卻不見生活、運氣，有改善的人，乃因她他們拜得不如法。無論拜佛、拜神或拜什麼的，都一定要虔誠。

虔誠包括妳你的出發心、禮儀、供品、所求的事項，等等。最起碼最起碼，妳你也要懂得稱呼對方啊！值年的太歲星君，名叫楊仙太歲星君，所求之事要清楚，誠懇地說兩遍，焚化紙金後，再頂禮楊仙太歲星君，即可回府。

How time flies! The Year of the Wooden Horse is almost over, and the baton is about to be handed over to”‘Brother Goat”. Everybody pines for four seasons of bountiful harvest and good fortune in the Year of the Goat. But have you ever quieten down and ponder seriously on this: Are all your wishes and hopes for this year going to be fulfilled? Or how are they going to be materialized? Please do not underestimate this short passage, for there is a lesson for you: To throw out superstition and walk towards the path of Truth.

Someone once asked me which Chinese zodiac sign is good for a newborn. If it is just purely based on the Chinese zodiac signs, I would recommend the zodiac signs of the Goat, Pig, Dog and Rabbit. The best way for a more complete evaluation would be to analyze the four pillars of your birth chart. I personally prefer the Goat, Dog and Pig zodiac signs. Well, since we are approaching the Year of the Goat, let me share more about this Chinese zodiac sign. Those born under this sign are less likely to be selfish and display more compassion and empathy for others. Their weaknesses are a lack of drive to fight for their own happiness and a lack of order in their self management. Most of them suffer from bone and skeletal health issues. Those born under the zodiac signs of the Ox, Goat, Dragon, Dog and Tiger can, on an auspicious day during this Spring Festival, prepare the right offerings and joss papers and make a trip to any temple enshrined with the 60 Dukes of Jupiter. The purpose is to pay homage to the Duke of Jupiter that is on duty during the Year of the Goat. A lot of people had paid their respects to the Duke of Jupiter but felt that they received no protection from Him. These people blamed their misfortunes on the Duke of Jupiter. This is unacceptable. Those that prayed to the gods but did not see improvement in their fortunes must have done the prayers wrongly and not in accordance to the prescribed methods. It does not matter if you are praying to the Buddha or any other God, you must be devout and sincere.

To be devout would include a sincere and pure motivation, the proper etiquette, the offerings, the list of things to wish for, etc. At the very least, you need to know how to properly address the deity or deities whom you are praying to. The Duke of Jupiter in the Year of Goat goes by the proper address of “The Duke of Jupiter, Yang Xian (楊仙)”. Please remember to speak clearly and say your prayers sincerely to Him twice. After offering incense and burning the joss papers offerings, pay homage to the Duke of Jupiter, Yang Xian and you may then return home.
